Strike Three! You’re Outta There!

I’m picking Jennie up from work this evening at Build-A-Bear, but I have to wait until she’s finished closing the store. Since I have my iBook with me, I thought I’d write an entry. Isn’t that thoughtful of me?

In my boredom last week, I decided to look around and see what kind of anti-Bud Selig sites were out there to protest his improper managing of affairs as Commissioner of Baseball. I didn’t find any, besides the sites out there rallying to save the Twins and Expos. So I started one - nomoreselig.org. I’m really hoping it will take off and generate some grass-roots movement. It seems a funny thing to get activist about, I know, but it’s something I’m much more equipped to do than any sort of political activism.

Why Doesn’t He Write?

I was contemplating why I almost never write in my diary anymore, and I think it’s pretty simple - I never had a soulmate before with whom I could share all my anxieties, hopes, frustrations, desires, and dreams with. Now that I have Jennie, and as we’ve grown even closer in the last year, I’ve found the need to write here less and less. It shows with the continual increase in times between entries. Nonetheless, I still feel some obligation to keep the people who might yet be keeping tabs on this site up-to-date, so I will do my best to fill in the last 4 months. Read more…
