Well, for me, anyway, if not for Colorado.
I HAVE A JOB!
After my previous entry, I finally got an interview with Raytheon. I felt like the interview went very well, but I was getting a little concerned when I didn’t get a decision from them right away. I knew they had finished checking my employment history a couple weeks ago, so I wasn’t sure what the holdup was. I finally heard from them last Thursday, and they offered me the job! I’ll be starting this Monday, March 3.
I’ve wanted to post something about all of this for weeks, but I haven’t been able to because my previous ISP, IntelectWeb, hasn’t been able to fix the Slammer worm that every other computer on the internet seems to have addressed two weeks ago. I got sick of it. I’ve moved to Fidelity Hosting. It’s the first time I’ve ever changed hosting providers, so we’ll see how it goes. I also took the opportunity to move everything over to a new system, Movable Type, which should make it easier for me to update my online journal here. Doing it all manually was a major pain. I refuse to call this a “blog,” however.
