My friend Ellie told me the other day that she actually looked at this page(!), so I thought I’d revisit it for the first time in over a month. She and my good friend Matt got engaged on Friday. I was kind of pleased – I was the very first person they called, even before their parents! Of course, I was expecting it any time; they had been telling me they were planning it since December. I wish them the best of luck! Now I just have to find someone to date. It’s okay, I’m not (very) bitter.

So I’ve had a couple job interviews lately – I seem to have made a good impression on Halliburton Energy. I have a second interview with them on Friday. I don’t know for sure that I really want to work in Duncan, Oklahoma, but we’ll see. I also had an interview with MCI Worldcom. The job might eventually land me in Colorado Springs, but there’d be over two years’ worth of rotations elsewhere first. The entire first year would be travel. We’ll see what happens.

Well, JJ and Adam, if you happen across this entry, I am alive and well. I’ve just been swamped with work for my senior design courses, is all. I hope I’ll see the light of day again sometime soon.

I’m kind of proud of myself. After a few weeks of really terrible sleep patterns, I cut all caffeine out of my diet, and started going to bed at a decent time again. I’ve been to all my classes for the past two weeks. I also am working out in the gym with Paul three times a week; for the first time in my whole life, I actually have pectoral muscles! They’re not great, but they’re there.
