We had a special homeowners’ meeting last night for our townhome HOA, because the entire board resigned two months ago. Only four were speaking up to be on it, so I volunteered, partly at Jennie’s prompting, to fill the fifth seat. Little did I know that I would end up being VP!

I hope this doesn’t end up being a ton of work. We are in troubling financial shape, and the builder is balking at finishing the outstanding items on the property before we take full control, so that might require legal action. Plus we seem to have a ton of nosy neighbors who will probably be calling me all the time with “problems.”

Yeesh.
