The house hunt has been a little slower than expected. Jennie and I got shut out of two different deals in the first two weeks of looking, and it’s been tough finding a place to meet our standards since then. I’m happy to say that we’ve finally chosen something, though – we’ll be signing the contract on Tuesday.

We’re buying a really cute townhome at Willow Trace by a company called TriMark, which is a division of D.R. Horton. I’m not sure why the floorplan I’ve linked to only shows the lower level – that seems a bit silly to me.

I’ve finally started my real job at Raytheon. It’s actually not a classified program, which is why I’ve already started. I still don’t feel comfortable talking too much about it, though – suffice it to say, I’m working in C++, which is a bit of a switch, and it’s a problem scope unlike any I’ve dealt with before. It’s is HUGE!

Jennie and I are both going nuts now, with the wedding only five weeks away. We still don’t have a photographer or DJ, we have to pick a cake, and I have to find tuxedos! Aagghh!
